Printing a PDF

Weird this, ! have an Epson XP 435 and a HP laptop running Widows 10, I've had no trouble printing PDFs myself, in fact I printed off my tickets/boarding pass before going on holiday a couple of weeks ago, but now my daughter is using the same set-up and although it prints everything else without difficulty she cannot print PDFs. True, she can copy-and-paste on to Word and print them like that but with the amount of printing she has to do that's a nuisance.

Any suggestions please?

Update her PDF reader or there may be a small tab on her reader that say's "download PDF" If that is the case she is looking at a preview rather than the actual document. They will look the same but won't do things like print.

What software is she using to open and print the pdf with?

Some pdfs are protected against printing.

Sorted! She loaded the PDF reader again, and all is well. Regrading the matter of having tried to print the preview rather than the actual document, she says that it was sent directly to her in a format that should have allowed her to print it immediately, they were prepared course notes from a course that she attended over the week end.
