Mortimer’s of Speyside in Grantown is quite a well known place for fishing tackle and guns, my local shop as well and always a pleasure to deal with.
The late owner built up quite a collection and it’s now up for auction.

I was in a charity shop in Malmesbury a couple of weeks ago and a bloke had just spotted (and bought) a Hardy reel and reel bag, in its original box . £8 to you Sir !! Goddammit !

I would be rather pleased if I found one like that! Must start going to charity shops nearby, plenty elderly fisher folk around
