Private sale of 2 ‘as new’ GSA’s

A friend of mine is looking for a GSA 1300 TB.
He came across these ads on Auto Trader for 2 bikes ‘as new’ from a ‘private seller’
Seems odd for a private seller to be selling 2 nearly identical bikes.
Anyone come across this seller or any info.
I did tell him that they were too expensive anyway so would need some negotiation.

I bought a Honda years ago that was one of seven or eight identical bikes repossessed after a courier went broke. The garage who were storing the machines were selling cheaply on behalf of the finance company, just to get back the amount owed.

That's apart from the reason for selling two almost brand new bikes.

Registrations suggest BMW UK pre registered bikes sold off either to dealers or if the trade did not want them to BMW employees,.

Brother in law bought a 9 or 10 month old f850gs sport from a dealer with under 100 miles on the clock, pre regd by BMW UK to manipulate the sales figures.

At the time the dealer had 8 or 9 identical almost zero mileage 850's plus a similar amount of similar mileage r1250gs models and r1250r models all pre registered BMW UK bikes

I was asking about VAT qualifying bikes for sale & GTMorgan indicted that his boss had two for sale, have a look on the thread with this title to see if they are the same?

The bikes are legit, bought on a whim, not used.

The autotrader ad says they've had 2 already, so probably the dealer plus whoever has them now.
