Hey Ollie

Can you let us know how the suit performed and do you have pics of your trip to show us all :thumb

Hi Zoltan, did you ever feel a bit stuffy in your ComfortShell in hot weather (38C or better)? With my Streetguard 3, I sometimes felt too hot.

Got a Streetguard 3 and in the wet and cold it brill, but as soon as the suns out and you stop you do start to cook 8-)

Pro 3 Jacket only

Had it out in the states for 4 weeks june/july this year, we did a coast to coast, average temp 36c, quite regularly 38 peaking 41c, pretty much all the way!
So quite a good heat test, even the east coast where we thought it would be cooler, were experiencing a heat wave! We had a good old thunder storm in Texas couple of hours in fairly heavy rain and again in alberqueque (can't spell).

It didn't leave in a drop, the vents were very accessible and operable even while on the move, handy when riding up to cooler heights of the National Parks!!

Initially used the water bladder in the back space, but found it dragging the jacket down a bit, so ended up putting it in my tank bag!

Found it very comfortable and would recommend!!:thumb2

Looks a good trip, scenery looks great.:thumb
The long way down lid goes well with the other gear.

How much did it cost to transport your bike?
I'd love to do something like that, what a cool trip. :drool

Forgive me but i am sure that Paddy would also advise you to try it on before you buy it, otherwise it might be one size too large.
Isn't that what you would have said lloyd. :augie

I too have changed from Ralye II to III....I Agree the back panel is larger, for me of the female variety that is not so 'wide backed' as the average male, it has taken some getting used to, but weight wise the suit is lighter than the II...although I do miss the raylle II.

Enjoy Arizona, what a lovely opportunity to have:beerjug:

Absolutely, unfortunately jacket manufacturers methinks, expects most bikers around your age to have a more fuller mid section and try to accommodate such a physique (like your own), us more fitter taller types have to purchase a size thats fits our sleeve length also and that sometimes means getting a more overall loose fit!:augie

Bought the suit about 6 weeks ago, very pleased with it.....liner out , all vents open and very good in temps up to 88' (til you stop, but thats the same with all suits) not used in heavy rain yet but i find the fit is very good , loads of good pockets, and 'warm' on normal weather days would i buy it again given the choice.......definately , if you have any other specific questions, ask away :thumb

Villan
Thanks for the response.

Where did you buy from?
As I've mentioned I've been struggling with heat build up in my leathers as I've no vents.
So thinking that Rallye 3 will do the job plus have the added benefit of waterproof lining when required.:thumb

Seems like a no brainer but as it's expensive I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.
Any response and advice will gratefully received.

Good suit for the money, still at the cheap end of the scale but good quality fasteners and finish,i felt damp in heavy rain but was bone dry, strange!
It is really only a 3 seasons suit though if you plan riding far in really extreme cold then you may need a better suit

JJ, Got mine from Wollastons, try suit on and then try various bikes etc, wear your bike boots etc, I changed my jacket three days after buying suit for a smaller size!! Just leave the tags on til your sure of right one......wollastons are good like that, speak to richard, or phil although ive found them all helpful.

Oh, got some knocked off the matching gloves( well you've gotta get them) and water bladder as well.

Gloves are brilliant........:thumb
