prob starting

R100 GS.
Due to illness,its not a sad story,the bike has been garaged for a few months.
Battery good and all seems well however when i try and start it all i get is a click and it wont start. Not the fast clicking when the battery is low. Just one click and then nothing.
Anyone in GS land have any ideas.
All suggestions gratefully accepted.

sounds like the started solenoid, try dropping it into gear and rock it back and forth a couple of times to see if it frees up.

Are you shure your battery is charged up? and not left on a tender.

I think you are right about the solenoid,tried rocking and no go!
Brain surgery required,for me,not the bike.
