Problem with oil cooler grill. Do I really need one?

Resolved! Thanks to excellent help from Paul; cheers mate.
Interestingly the best way to fit has bugger all to do with the instructions from Wunderlich, but involved, as Paul said, removing the beak.
Again, no disrespect to any of the opinions out there. If nothing else, it'll keep low flying, now-dead creatures out of the radiator grill.
Thanks to all.
Yet another demonstration of the brilliant resource this site/group/club (or whetever) is.
Cheers :beerjug:

Safe riding!
Hello,
Hear is my two-pence worth...I am now concerned.
I emailed NN about this product as I wanted one that required no removal of
beak/panels to fit it, they got back to me saying nothing needs removing, it simply slides in and sticks onto the adhesive pads (incl in package). So ordered one and its got adhesive pads incl.
My new GSA will will be here in 2 weeks, no way am I going to start taking bits off to fit it. I'd rather give to the dealer, when they prep my bike for handover to fit it.

Honestly mate its not difficult to fit, removal of the 'beak' is simple. If your dealer will do it free of charge though as the saying goes-why have a dog and bark yourself!!
