PROBLEM WITH VIDEOS ANDROID PHONE

All photos and videos backed up to PC, issue I have is that some older videos play perfectly on the PC but when played back on the phone the sound and picture are out of sync, feels like sound is ok but picture doesnt seem to move on naturally, after last back up I reformatted the Samsung Memory card and copied everything back on from pc but problem persists.
Any help appreciated.

Were the problematic videos originally recorded with the phone you are having trouble viewing them on, or a different phone?

different phone, both samsung android.

It’s most likely a codec compatibility issue between the different phones then.

I would recommend installing VLC Media Player on your phone, try playing the videos with that & see how you get on

Thanks, Ive done that now and also tried MX, no joy, I sent myself a problematic video on whats app , direct from pc and it plays perfectly, Ive ordered a new Memory card and will try that and report back, thanks again.
