Problems with Touratech IMO300

My IMO 300 is playing up:

1st of all when the weather was cold overnight the next morning I would find the date and time settings had changed (but everything else i.e. the milometer/trip settings were ok)...it has now got to the stage when ever I reset it and leave then bike for a couple of hours even in the sun it resets the time & date!!!

Has anybody else had this problem and where can I get it fixed (the unit is at least 3yrs old)?

Does it have an internal backup battery that is failing?

I would post the problem on the Touratech support forum.

They are generally very helpful and they do repair them in Germany.

Oh and you can post in English, no problem.

Hmmm.....put the query on the Touratech Forum, loads of people have looked at it but no replies. I can only think it is the language as there are very few posts in english?

Unlike here, the users don't often reply on the TT forum.

It's only TT staff usually. And this being holiday period they are probably busy...

I would just wait a little while longer.
