Next on my list of workshop clearance items. This excellent PortaMig Compact MIG 235. A very reluctant sale. But I'll soon be down to a 6ft shed so it needs to go.

SINGLE PHASE !!! You can use this at home.

MADE IN BRITAIN !! No Chinese rubbish here.

It will go all the way down to 15amp and peak at 235 AMPS. A serious piece of kit that can tack thin steel, but has the power to weld the keel back on to the Titanic. A really versatile and simple to use machine. From amateur to professional. No mind bending endless digital buttons to press or stupid settings no one needs. Just amps and wire speed.

This machine has a semi-automatic wire feed which self adjusts speed too.

It's about ten years old but it's had very little use. I've made a few benches, a Motorcycle trailer and used to for odd jobs and repairs. It's not industry battered or even near to be considered well used.

It comes with a large SGS Argon Mix gas bottle which is 90% full. You can swap these out almost anywhere in the UK. The deposit was £100 and the fill was £80.

It's got a new spool of 0.8 Mild steel wire.

It just needs plugging in and you're ready to go....

Yes. Single phase. It's got a 32A commando socket on it. It will pull 30A on full power. But no one will need 235A unless you're building an ocean liner. You can use it with 16amp for most things. Even 13a if you're doing light work.
