Had loan of a18 plate gsa while getting some warranty work on mine very nice ,pick up and running however I did have some trouble with the gear change as the propstand has a lug on it which sits right in the middle between the footrest and the gear lever .and also the throttle was so light when trying to blip the throttle for a down change sort of messed it up .anyone here noticed these issues.
Might just need setting up for an owner as this was a demo bike .

Didnt the bike have GSAP ?

Yes going up was fine but the down changes were a bit rougher could have been me as not had it before. But still the side stand lug did intrude with getting toe under the gear change Lever .

The side stand lug has been an issue on all my GS’s. the first thing I do with a new one is bend it a few mm to get it out of the way.

As long as up change - Throttle open , engine under load.
Down change closed throttle.
No need to blip it or whatever.
