Protective film for headlight

I’m looking for a headlight lens film protector from small particles on motor ways etc. I’ve found Puig makes one, but £38 seems steep. I’m not looking for the full fat ammoguard or acrylic option, but rather a film I can stick on the lens. Any ideas? Thanks.

You could always try some clear helicopter tape

Tony James Design does one as part of a full PPF kit. Might be worth asking if he'd just sell you the headlight bit

He is indeed, a top bloke and very conscientious. He's put PPF on both my previous GS and my current RS at Cotswold and did a marvellous job and uses proper expensive PPF rather than cheap vinyl.

Any paint film shop will cut one to size and fit it for you.
