Decided to put this thread up because i am usually useless with a spanner but with a little bit of patience and even more research i think i have turned out something pretty good.

This is what it looked like at the beginning of march

I would love to take it on the 3 week trip to tunisia im doing with a couple of mates from on here in September but i dont know whether i can leave the 800gs at home. also the suzuki seems to burn oil like a bastard and after seeing how much that cost Al on his old tenere on a recent trip to morocco im not sure i can afford to get another mortgage to pay for it:):):) Unless of course there is a way to reduce to rate it burns???

Just make sure you change the automatic camchain tensioner, they have a habit of failing and allowing the timing to jump a couple of teeth. Only real weak point on the bike
