My son has just asked me......" If I buy PS2 games in America, will they work on my English PS2 " ?..............

No. Not on a standard PS2

Google for PS2 Mod Chip and you'll see how it can be done though.

b.t.w. I got to play with the new PSP for 30 minutes last week. Very nice. Forget that it can play games via the rather nifty UMD discs, what I really like is the memory stick slot meaning you can load and play movies or MP3. Mikey want!
