Anyone here fitted a Puig Clip-on Spoiler or the MRA X-Creen Spoiler to the stock BMW Adventure screen?

I tried fitting the Puig one today and the clips on the inside don't sit flush, I think the screen is too thick??

Or, anyone fitted/can recommend another type - I don't need extra height just a little deflection, and don't like the Wunderlich one because it sits on top of the screen.

Bike's a 2011 R1200GSA.

Thanks. :thumby:

I have the x-creen fitted to my standard 09 GSA screen. Went on no problem, haven't found a good position for it yet but that's more down to not using the bike for ages. Not technically proficient or I would've put a picture up.

Thanks MWH, do you (or anyone) know if the thickness of the GSA screen changed 09 - 10 onwards (SC to TC)?

I have the mra x screen on my 1200 tc gsa , very happy with it , recommended by someone on here , can cruise at the ton with my visor up , pity you can't adjust it on the move though .looked at the wunderlich things but they seem very small the mra is quite a substantial piece of kit .

Thanks chaps, seems like the MRA is the solution.
Did you choose to drill the main screen and bolt-on or go the clip-on route?

Put the x-creen on my 2011 TC - excellent bit of kit which takes out all the turbulence. Mines clamped on.
Not an 'issue' but I find myself sitting more upright to look over the top of it rather than looking through it.

Standard GS or GSA screen?

think the clamp system is the way to go as you don't have to drill the screen , which if you decide it's
not for you , the original still looks ok .

I fitted s puig last year and thought the same as you that they didn't fit well. I put it on anyway and tightened it up and it's Been fine for over a year. No more turbulence. Lovely

Thanks for the advice chaps, I ordered the MRA one.

gazza12adv, interestingly, upon further investigation the Puig website allows you to download a document that has the fitting list for every make and model and there is no TC GSA listed.
The model they will sell you is 6319, but will only fit a screen with a thickness of between 3-5mm, the GSA screen is 5mm at a push but more like 6mm which is why the clamp doesn't sit right on the rear.
I went to BR Special Tuning yesterday, really nice guy, and he couldn't make the clamp fit flush on any part of on the GSA screen.

I opted for the clip on system, mainly for ease of fitting and if I didn't like it I could remove it and leave no damage. Also can take it to another bike if I change mine.

This is mine fitted

This is mine fitted

That's the issue I found, bottom front and top back don't and never will sit flush. The MRA sits much more flush to the screen because it has two bolts on the back rather than just the one at the top.
Good to hear yours has stayed steady, I just wouldn't have trusted it...it may be a slight OCD thing.
