Pretty sure it's probably been discussed 1000 times but have just installed the Puig touring screen and strengthening brackets to my 1250 GSA.

I'm 6' 3" and had no major problems with the standard GSA screen in terms of buffeting but the noise was causing me lots of issues.

I find wearing earplugs in a full face lid really hard as the seal always breaks once I put my helmet on rendering the earplugs useless!

Went for a nice long fast ride today with the new screen and the difference is night and day. Wind noise is almost non existent now and I can ride comfortably with music playing at lower levels without any discomfort.

If you're considering a change I can wholeheartedly recommend the Puig!

+1; it’s the best addition that I added to my 1200 GSA and made rigid by treating it to the strengthening part from a member of this site.
I’m 6ft 2”

I'm 6'2.5" and did not have that much luck with Puig Touring. Tried it both with and without spoiler but the buffeting (not wind noise) was big on high speeds. So, I gave up on it and installed Wunderlich Marathon with MRA spoiler, 20mm spacers on lower bolts (new, longer bolts) and now I have zero buffeting. Offered my Puig kit to a friend.

Sounds interesting. I'm 6'2" and have never found a screen that impacts usefully on wind and buffeting.

Where did you get it from?

Doug

Im 6 foot 2 and from a rider perspective the MRA screen is really not bad but did not solve the wind noise for the pillion. The Puig touring with spoiler is much better for the passenger for noise but imho not as good for the rider. I will comment that neither are as good as the Givi on the twin cam :-(

I have the Puig touring screen with the additional winglet doodah and I've not found it to make much if any difference over the standard. I'm 6'2 and I get a ton of buffeting on my lid and my shoulders. When I traded in my 2016 Triumph Explorer to this I noticed it straight away. I went from sitting in a calm almost completely silent bubble to major buffetting and wind noise but I've gotten used to it now and just accepted its the way it is.

I bought it on amazon. Can't comment on buffeting as didn't really experience it with the standard screen.

It's the vast decrease in wind noise that makes it work so well for me.

Interesting to see how well it works for some but not others. I guess it's all down to individual bodies!
