Should all be in HERE:thumb

my local bmw dealer said they had a big box of old FPCs, working but changed under the recent, ahem, "quality enhancement" program.

might be worth asking if you could just have one as a spare if you're on good terms with them :nenau

Thanks for the link - this link was useful but did not say which wire was which - but with a little messing (should have done this first) managed to find the correct wire and did a test run - worked fine - again thanks for all the help - could not ask for more :thumb:bounce1:roll:roll:bounce1

Not gonna put us out of our misery/post the answer for the benefit of others ??:nenau

As far as I know, the pump is non-directional, so it makes no difference which way round the wires go. It will always blow.... not suck (or visa-versa) if you see what I mean.

PS If you ever fill the tank with a load of diesel, you can disconnect the fuel line and use the work-around to simply drive the pump to empty the tank.

Power is the yellow wire - sorry for not finishing the thread but have been away.
As wapping said it may not make a difference with the wire colours but at least i know now so may help other 'no so good bike electricians':thumb
Thanks
