Hi chaps could anyone tell me the best or easiest puncture repair kit to use

+1 got one of those a few years back and used it for the 1st time last year. Great piece of kit and it dug me and a mate out of a hole.

worked for me also. practice when you get it on an old tyre, it will make the job a lot easier when you possibly need to use it.

I bought one a while ago and the only time I needed to use it I couldn't get the patch to seal. Now I always carry a can of slime and a bicycle tyre pump.

I use the screw type. You screw a big plastic screw into the hole and snap off the handle. No glue required and literally takes 10 seconds to screw in. Kit has the usual CO2 canisters for inflation or use a pump.

I have a related question:
Based on recommendations I also bought the stop-n-go kit. Just received it and went through how it works. Looks nice and well engineered.

My question to those who have fixed a puncture and inflated the tire with CO2 canisters:
How many gram CO2 (or how many canisters) are needed?

The canisters I bought now are 16 gram each.

Waste of time trying to use loads of cannisters to get the pressure up over the high twenties psi as the pressure equals out between tyre and CO cannister after three bottles

And the Stop & Go is the easiest and best plugger kit and no dirty hands or messy glue . Used it on both car and bikes.

I found it very reasonable priced when ordering directly from the US. Therefore I did not bother to search arround to possibly save some coins.

I carry a stop&go kit on both my bikes. I have used it once and then put 1,500 miles on the plugged tyre with no trouble at all. I tend to carry a Slime compressor if I'm going any real distance but store the kit and gas cartridges under the Sargent rear seat just in case on the 1200.

Don't know how to use it though

+1 for Stop 'n Go with a Slime compressor

I’m replacing tyres tomorrow so I did my first practise "plug" last night. I plugged the hole within 2 minutes. Slime compressor took about 3 or 4 minutes to inflate the front tyre to 30psi

Another vote for Stop n Go - I bought the "deluxe" version with the gun. Also have a pump from motopumps.com in the US. Good kit, dead easy to use.
