Looking for a definitive answer - repair (tyre off repair) and ride on a tubeless tyre or get a new one. Small hole -1 mm. Have done a search and got all sorts of answers although it seems that a repair without removing the tyre is regarded as temporary.

I've had loads of puncture repairs done...

...to tubeless tyres.

My local tyre fitter says I'm his best customer, and he does commercial vehicle emergency callouts. He simply removes the tyre, applies a glued-in plug and refits it.

What bike are you on? I run an R100RT with tubeless tyres but can fit an inner tube when required.

R100GSPD -also carry an 18 inch tube to fit to front or back in emergencies plus a tubeless repair kit. Just don't want to compromise safety especially having a crack through the windy sealed roads.

I picked up a puncture in a new Battlewing when over in the USA... Had only done 600 miles since ditching the off road tyres in Missoula :blast

Put a "temporary repair" in...

Checked pressure every day and was expecting it to lose pressure quickly...

Got another 2,900 miles out of it before it lost more than 4 psi overnight...

A professional plug would be even better I bet... :thumb2

I've fixed a few punctures with my Stop n go tyre plugger --> Stop N go The plugs have always lasted the life of the tyre. I've got a little compressor taken from a cheap inflater that fits in your hand to sort out the re inflation side of things.
