Get a grip man! Have along hard look in the mirror and have a word with youself.
It's bike money, it doesn't count.
You've just spent squillions on a bike. what's a few more, you have to make your own

I have that sw motech gear lever and it’s a very nice bit of kit. Fully adjustable too. You need one!

Be interested in how you got the right adjustment for your type of riding

It's not the type of riding it is the size of your feet, std gear levers are too long for my little tootsies. With an adjustable lever I can get the toe piece to sit nicely on the handy rubber pad stitched on my boot.

Same here - I had to slide my foot forward slightly to get a comfortable gear shift. The sw motech one adjusts perfectly.

I bought mine second hand off a mate, but having used one, I’d buy one again new if I needed to.

PM Sadjim on here; he'll give you a decent price. Just bought some from him a week ago ...

Del/Smog Just about to order a set of these. But before I do, how do you rate them after using them for a while? Do you use them in the lowest setting? Any negatives?

Thanks
Mark

The adjustment and quality is great only downside is that they are short not good for standing

Thanks, not one for standing much anyway. Read about issues with gear lever fouling side stand if adjusted lower. Anything in that? Mine is a standard height GSA.

I dont use them at a lowered position. There are zero problems with fouling of sidestand etc. As for standing i do it several times on a long run and they are more than wide enough, so anyone who says different doesnt know what they are talking about. They are about 15mm wider than standard pegs.
