Put it back to standard ?

Thanks for the imput guys
single seat and rack will be up for sale
Tank i am not so sure
i quite like the look of it with the big tank and duel seat

And yes the grips are destined for the bin

My opinion.... I found the big tank a pain. It looks great but on a ride my knees did,nt fit into the cutouts and it was uncomfortable after a short ride. The small gt/s tank I could ride with all day. mind you the extra fuel capacity does come in handy. So in short, for looks, PD tank. riding small tank.:rob

Well, I like small tanks. But then again I also like big tanks. But which one is best?

There's only one way to find out....

FIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGHHHHHTTTT!!!!

:handbag

I was always struck by the fact that every other Basic I saw in Germany (where I was living and working until 2001 and where I bought mine new in 1996) was encrusted with extras. The only extra I fitted to mine, aside from part time frames, was an R100R non-crashbar sidestand (which works fine in practice, even if it's a tad short). I bought the bike because I like 'basic' bikes, that's why I thought it was such a spiffing good idea when BMW popped it onto the end of the 2-valve production run.

So... my vote is back to standard!!
