It's a Geordie tradition (In fact we learned it from the Scots) to not spend any money unless at gun point, and even then it'd have to be a pretty big gun.:oonyack:rob

I live in Yorkshire now as well and so I'm even tighter than most Scotsmen. It's frugality to the power of three.

Just discovered that my leave for this weekend has not been granted due 'centre' Commitments [European elections] So gonna have pull out. If there is still space will look to go to Skye in August.
 
Ronno, I'll be camping, although I was there with 'The Dogs Nuts' 2009 tour, I don't ken what camp site everyone is using - advice again would be welcome, this is my first attendance so when everyone is arriving would be gratefully received. Don't you just hate drinking on your own:augie

If you remember the chippy we were all sat outside, all you do is drop down towards the pier and turn right. The campsite is a couple of hundred yards up there on the shoreline. Anyway, Ullapool is such a small place you can't really go wrong.

I'll certainly be there Friday lunchtime/early aft.
As for drinks...gawd knows - it's going to be like herding cats. Anyone else got any ideas on a possible RV? Which is a guid pub?

Think the idea is that folk have the whole of Ullapool for choice of dinner and drinks.
What happens at most events is the folk seperate anyway.

Ride outs will be organised but won't be groups of 30 like some as that's just daft and also dangerous. We have something up the old sleeve for that:thumb2

Klanky, cheers for that shipmate:thumb2. Will try to arrive Friday(work permitting)if not it will be Sat, in time for a dinner time sessshh. Of course I've got to get back from the NW200:beerjug:
