Putting a 1200GS battery on a Falco?

Question for those with more electrical knowledge than me

Can I repace the standard 12 amp battery on my wifes Falco with a 14amp battery off a 1200GS - assuming that it is the same physical size etc?

The reason for asking is that having had the battery on my 1200Adv fail (after 13 months ) I bought an Odysse replacemet from Motorworks.
I never the less still got BMW to replace the standard battery under warrenty and so I now have a brand new 14 amp BMW battery sat in the garage.

As long as its the same physical size,ie,it goes into the carrier OK and you can connect the cables the right way round,not a problem.

ISTR that YTX14BS (GS battery) is taller than YTX12BS (Falco battery). However, if you can make it fit......

Thanks for the advise - will see if it will fit - if not I will see if antone here wants a brand new 1200 battery
