Ok what do you lot recon, I have a net book that a v-young future computer tec has enabled the bios startup password and has no clue of what it was. Now I know that to reset the bios P/W you have to remove the bios battery
this involves taking the bloody thing to pieces and voiding the waranty. So do you think that if I freeze it it will temporarily knock the bios battery out and reset the P/W without all the work

I will try freezing another one for a bit longer and see if that resets the bios
