I'm thinking of going to an area around Luz St. Sauveur, approx half way along but over on the French side.

What weather can I expect in early May and anyone have experience of trails around this area?

Weather in May can be pretty good but can also be wet. Won't be cold and most, but not all, of the mountain passes will be open, in our experience Aubisque and Tourmalet will be closed. There should be snow still on the high ground. Sorry can't help with off road routes.

Cheers Phil.

Thanks Phil - nice looking place you have.

Any other advice in respect of tracks around the area?

Afraid not, you are in the middle of the National park area where dogs on leads are a no no never mind bikes. The Spanish side offers some good off roading, information for this I have seen else where in this site. If Aubisque and Tourmalet are shut, which they have been for the last three years, you might find yourself a bit locked in at Luz St Saveur.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

All the best Phil
