Qs n my New Unicarscan UCSI-2100,and Motoscan App

I just bought my first ever GS - it is a 2014 TE. Does anyone know where I can get the right cable / lead to use the Motoscan app in the UK. I have the ODB"LX" Bluetooth ODB connector which I used with Tune ECU on the Triumph Tiger but I see that I need a lead to go from the 10 pin connector on the BMW to the LX. There seem to be tons of these leads on eBay and Amazon but is there one that always works and is reliable.

I'd think carefully about the adapter - the world leapt on in the last year

if you play with BM cars and Bikes I'd seriously consider this Motoscan designed and made BM adaptor... I bought an ODBLink EX from these people - but I think they have now dropped it, service was speedy and good comms and they do the silly old cable too (but charge too much) - that 10 pin bit is nothing inside just plugs and wires

ALL adapters first thing is to move to the latest firmware - they are finding bugs and new stuff manu build in to try and stop you getting anywhere everyday


Most of these just got superseded as later Fords need a FEPS 18v to do programming and VLinker bought out a capable lead that does it - whereas no ODBLink adapter can

That's great advice thank you. I already own the "OBD - LX" adapter and really only want to do basic functions like service light and check for fault codes etc so probably just get the adapter lead from the link you mentioned - many thanks

I'm down the road from you, in Camberley. I've got the Motoscan app, same BT dongle and the adapter lead. I also recently got a GS-911 too (pro version), so if you need anything further i'll see if i can help.
