Quad lock phone mount - show me yours!

None of my phones have had Quadlock cases available. What I do is buy a good quality tight fitting rear cover for the phone and stick one of the Quadlock universal mounts onto that. I like the Spigen transparent covers which cost about £10. The Quadlock stick on universal mount costs £11.

Not sure I would trust the glue on those sticky pads, especially in hot weather!

I've done thousands of miles, mostly in hot or very hot conditions, with no problems. I also know how strong the 3M adhesive pads are because when I've changed phones and tried to salvage the mount to reuse with a new case and my own adhesive tape, I've found it almost impossible to remove.

Cool as long as you are happy, that’s all that matters. I just prefer something mechanical holding my phone to the bike!

So I deliberately kept my phone, aka sat nav away from the bars. For one, it’s probably the area on the bike most prone to vibration, secondly it means looking down at the bars to see the screen. I utilised the OEM Nav mount with a WunderLINQ fitted to it to control my phone via the wonder wheel. I then fitted the Quadlock to the lost of the WunderLINQ. Zero vibration and it’s in my line of sight whilst riding.

You can also stick on a quadlock universal connector to a satnav or tablet to give you the best of all worlds with one mount.

Having recently acquired a used satnav (impulse buy) i intend to fit a quadlock universal adapter - powered by usb cable.
That way i can use the satnav and have the phone as the backup. I really do not care for the BMW wheel. As i have a quadlock mount in my car, again i can use the satnav or phone. Lots of choices:D

Just installed the wireless charger. I also fitted the battery direct lead which all looks tidy and keeps the other power outlet free.

Quadlock adaptor now fitted to Zumo - had to file a little bit to allow the usb cable in.

Can have phone or usb.

Realise this is an old thread but has anyone fitted the Handlebar Mount Pro on their R1250GSA ? Went out to fit, started looking at fitting between the handlebar clamps and the bracket is too large to fit without a spacer but wont fit with any of the spacers provided - am I going mad ?!

Does anyone know the official bar size ? Says it'll fit:
7/8"
1"
1-1/8"
1-1/4"
1-3/8"

If you have removed the original bmw nav mount... Purchase a mirror mount and use the same fixing bar the bmw nav mount uses.
This imho is a better option as the phone screen is facing you and is protected by the wind screen some what from water and looks more of a factory fit.

That's what I want to do but that looks like an air cooled GS not a R1250GSA ? Not sure if the bars are the same size (maybe they are) but mine wont fit as snug as that. I need to move it a little further away from the tank due to a tank bag - so I'll be using the little extender arm that comes with the handle bar kit but I have the charging cradle and the vibration damper as appears you do.

Dont want to remove the original nav mount - want to use the Nav6, TFT and phone all together. Dont want to purchase anything else tbh - I've spent £150 already ! The Handlebar mount should, in my view, fit the best selling >1000cc bike !

It's a liquid cooled 1200 so the bars will be the same
