My 1150GS went in for 20k km service at BMW Manila a short while ago. Was running fine then. Since it came back though it is consistently suffering a loss of power in all gears between 4500 and 5500 rpm. Outside that band power is fine. It has also started to surge which it never did before. Any suggestions would be gratefully received as we are 30 hrs by sea from manila so getting it back there is a major headache. Furthermore, BMW are saying it was fine when they put it back on the ferry after service and are being less than helpful! The bike has been fitted with BMW Y piece and stainless aftermarket BMW muffler since new.
