Quest helmet speakers

Can anyone recommend a pair of helmet speakers suitable for listening to Quest voice commands ?(3.5mm plug , no intercom or mp3 etc fitted)

If you find it uncomfortable the polystyrene liner of your helmet can be locally "depressed" with a blunt round instrument. Another option is to gently remove the actual white speaker part, apply some velcro to it's back and attach to the material liner. You must ensure it is exactly over your lughole

I don't know if anyone else has found this, but when I use stereo headphones (of any type) with the Quest, then the quest sometimes works, but more often than not goes into a constant refresh cycle. Now I'm not electrically / electronically savvy, so please ignore my ignorance.

However I found the solution was to use a mono to stereo convererter (from maplins). This seems to stop whatever interference was causing the problem.

Now I got my (stereo) speakers as a freebie when I bought the quest 1, and it took 4 sets of speakers (all replaced FOC by the vendor), before they eventually delivered a mono headset that worked. This gave me the clue, so I bought the adapter, and hey presto - job done.

So if you plug in some stereo speakers, and the quest works then great. If you run into the constant reboot cycle that affects my quest - then try an adapter)

Thanks for your help guys. I think I'll use the earpice for now untill I source a cheapish helmet speaker set.
