Has anyone seen the quest II on the garmin website??

It looks like the quest we know and love, and it is only available in the states, but I can see no differences to ours, apart from less memory??

It's got a shitload more memory.

It comes with CitySelect preinstalled for the entire US + 100+mb for user loaded maps.

It 'appears' to have 2 GB of internal memory
(enough to hold all of City Select North America v7 plus an additional 140 MB - CSNA v6 is 1.6 GB)

A bit disappointing that neither the Quest II or the SP2720 come with a CD tho.

No CD???

Are these products only meant for dummies who don't use routes & tracks & waypoints ? Those who never use MapSource?

How to update the map without a map on the PC? Are you supposed to buy a new navigator every second year?

What's the meaning with a MC-navigator if you can't create/upload/download routes & tracks & waypoints ?

Maybe you are supposed to buy one additional license of the map?

Doesn't really matter as it's an American product.

The UK version may well be different if it ever comes out here.

I see!!!

Maybe they will bring out a version for us, with the european city select pre-loaded, to save us making corridors to germany/spain etc.??
