Quest questions...

I'm pretty sure that I will be going for the Quest. Mainly due to cost.

I want to use this on my 1200GS and in the car. So, a few questions...

1. What's the best price / place to buy the Quest? (Scottish Bike show is on next week, should I try to buy one there.)

2. What's the best mounting set up for the 1200GS? I'd prefer to have it set above the intruments. Not on a handlebar. And how much? (Pics would be useful too.)

3. And, what's the best car mounting set up too?

What's the best price / place to buy the Quest?

Used Quests are appearing on eBay. A lightly used one with it's registration and unlock code plus AC adapter etc would probably go for somewhere between £200 - £240. I personally would not have a problem with one like this provided I could satisfy myself that it was not stolen and the seller genuine

.....what's the best car mounting set up too?....

The one that comes with it plus an optional external antenna (£12 - £15 on eBay)

Aren't the Quest 2s available now?

Take a look at aspidshop.com. They sell Quest2 for a decent price with a RAM-mount included in the price.
