Apologies if this subject has been posted before, but, I would like to know members opinions if Grip Buddies really work..................

i) Do they stop the vibrations sometimes felt through the standard handlebar grips, I have got a 2019 R1200GS Rallye TE, and,

ii) Will the heated grips function still work and be felt through the Grip Buddies?

Many thanks :)

Yes & yes

Use them on all my bikes..

Yes and Yes, and buy the £6.00 jobs off Ebay

Squirt a little water and washing up liquid down the inside, slide em on the grips and enjoy.

I find riding without them feels really weird now.

Fitted mine last week, big difference, found the oem grips just too thin and made my hands ache. Ache gone and much more comfy.

the heated grips still work although I think they take slightly longer to heat up - assume it takes a little while to "come through"

I like the extra thickness they give too - I was never particularly bothered by vibration through the std grips, but I always thought they were a bit too skinny in my hands.

I wouldn't be without them.

no complains except they sometimes get a bit sticky, I don´t know why

I have just tried grip buddies and found they don’t stick and they felt a little wide so I bought a set of grabon grips of amazon with a slightly smaller internal diameter and they have want in well with no movement and they are also slightly thinner. I prefer them to the grip buddies

I've used Grip Puppies for a few years now, and would not be without them. Something else, I find they give me slightly better throttle control too, as the diameter of the grip is slightly larger, it translates to a more finer input.

How do you mean stick ? Do they rotate on the grips ? I used washing up liquid in a little water and mine dont rotate at all, strange

totally agree,on both my bikes.

Many thanks to everyone for all your inputs/opinions etc. All taken on board. I have just ordered a set of Grip Puppies on Amazon Prime for £13.99 which are being delivered on Sunday (as opposed to Grip Buddies at £29 from Nippy N's). I am looking forward to see what difference they make...............:thumb2

What vibes , mines as smooth as silk

Very interested to note that the grips on your bike produce no vibrations whatsoever. What bike is it?

Makes me wonder if my brand new May 2019 R1200GS has got any issues or whether all GS's suffer from some degree of vibration, however slight, at certain rpm's....................

Got them on my Blackbird and will be getting some for the gsa when I pick it up

Not so much about vibes for me, have them on my R1100RT for years, Fitted them onto my R1250RT as soon as I got it because the small diameter of the standard grips make my hands cramp, instant cure with the grip puppies :thumb
