Far too direct, particularly if it's a polarity responder spark plug. In which case, paradoxical injunction would be more effective.......

"You're not going to start that all over again, are you....?" ;)

It should be gently coerced towards a more productive path. So that it is able to expand its potential and explore new educational pathways....

That's what you do with all bright sparks isn't it?

Should the plug be changed anyway? Have you not considered life from its perspective? What right have you to impose alternative belief-sytems on a defenceless inanimate object? Stand up for the rights of spark-plugs and vote spark-plug now!

I thought GS's were diesels too

Bosch....

Of course I can change a spark plug......

But

They do have rights you know, they are covered by the ECSPR which gives them:-

The right to long and happy life. ......

The right to discharge their services.....

The right to conduct.....

The right to share the good earth.....

The right to wear a cap......

The right to fail.....

WHO are we to interfere in this...... :D

I suppose the reason the question has been aimed at us 1200 owners is that we are the only 'bike owners that systematically change the bike around the spark plug as bits fall apart or fail :augie

So, by the time the bike reaches 6000 miles the spark plug is the only original piece that hasnt been changed under warranty, I suppose that's why we have 4 plugs - twice as original :D

Never had need to change one, my dealer does that stuff :D

However if I ever find myself in the position of needing to change one then I will work out how to do it.
