Just picked up my GSA and noticed that I have quite more wind blast to the face than I had aticipated, after looking into it the screen wasnt fully fully adjusted up, I went to adjust it and it cant go all the way up due to pegs in the black plastic spacers. The GS I owned previously would adjust to the top of the serrations, the exam question is:
Have BM done this on purpose to prevent the screen been adjusted to this height due to unwanted vibration or stress cracking?
I am thinking 10 seconds with the dremmel (you would not see the mod) and I would have another 10-20mm of screen height but i dont want to do this if it will damage the screen. The other option is order the GS spacers as these do not have the pegs on the spacers.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
PS, The spacers are wedge shaped preventing a simple reversal of the spacer.
