question for the gs web wizards

i have a 2007gsa with a socket up front that i ve wire up direct to the battery with an in line fuse powers the satnav.would i be able to use this socket via an adaptor to power a 12v air pump that runs off a normal cigarette socket to pump up our air bed.will canbus allow this or will the bike need to running.dont want to cause any damage

It runs direct to the battery, so it is untouched by anything else.

Providing the in-line fuse is of sufficient ampage (7.5 or ten should be fine) you will be good to go.

No need to run the engine, either...... Unless you intend to pump up a Zeppelin.
