Question re: Fitting a headlight protector & mud sling onto a 07 1200 GSA

Dear all

I'm looking to fit the above 2 items onto the bike, and my question (it may seem daft to many) is as follows:-

Are the securing nuts for the receiving screws for said items, loose or fixed?

Simple reason for asking - do I need to remove any other parts to install these, or are there fixed nut housings to receive the securing screws?

Just don't want to remove the screws, then hear a faint clink as a nut drops free!!

Can't help with the headlight protector....

.....but I've recently fitted a Mudsling...to a 2010 Gsa....and that was just removing the Oe screws, then replacing them with the longer ones supplied.

I imagine the protector is the same?

Fitted both to my 09 GSA as above on the mudsling,my headlight protector was a rugged roads one,just loosen the indicator bolts fix H pro and tighten simples......

+1 on mudsling 2008 GSA - took original shock cover off - some people leave on but could rub.
