Ordered... £7.64 delivered..... let's see if it works... i'll try it on my trip to the Picos this year and do a direct comparison to a standard seat....

i see it also doubles up as a pillow, i always camp :ymca on my bike trips so it will be great if it has a dual purpose......

Arse by day, head by night.....

If it does not work then hey ho it was only £7.64.........

you wont be disappointed use one slightly under inflated with a sheep skin over the top:thumb2

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if you had any Ideas on a waterproof cover.

I'm reading your thread and I like many have a air Hawk, but like the Idea of covering it kind of the Hawk in sheeps clothing to hide the air hawk and add comfort , but was wondering riding through the Rain it getting wet and soaking wet.

So rather than sit on a wet sheep, have any of you tried Beaver! or something similar, the line of thinking being the beaver deals better with the wet. Or a man made fleece

any Ideas welcomed

This is a 'small cruiser' on my 1150, it's been on for several years, I cobbled up a bit of wire just to stop someone walking off with it, been ok for a long time now.

well my Putnam Stadium Seat arrived today.... very quick delivery. just popped it on the bike and its a perfect fit, almost made to measure!!.... i'll try it on my next run and report back....

Cheers

used the putnams one for a while now,
even on the drz,as a test
i sat on an airhawked bike, felt the same,
i see no need for an airhawk, i got 2 from putnams, incase
it didnt last long but it seems ok, at 7 quid, i can stand a spare,
or use on pillion,:thumb2
i also have tried memory foam (good but too hot)
and gel, (limited effect,,,)
the putnams won by far,
the other thing that worked was setting the seat high at the front, low at the rear, (maximum contact for my arse)
an gettin tony archer to re cover and flatten the profile of the seat slightly,
