Question: road from Tunisia to Morocco?

Hi all...

Me and some mates are planning a expedition for 2009...

Leave Blighty...
Ride to either Napoli or Scicily

Take Ferry to Tunis

Along the top of Africa to Morocco

Then back up through Spain to either

Santander
or
Up through France and home

So? Any body ridden it? what are the roads like between Tunisia and Morocco?

Any tips? Any body want to come along???

The border between Algeria and Morocco is closed, so you can't go from Tunisia to Morocco overland without going way down to Mali and back up through the Western Sahara.

You can fly via France, but it'll be extortionately expensive with bikes.

Time to rethink the plan I'm afraid

PS Moto Morocco should be doing an overland to Timbuctoo in 2009 if you're interested ..we were going to do it in 2008 but there's not enough time to fit it in with 6 other trips happening next year
