Quick 30 min job!!!!!!

Thought I would treat the 90S to some fresh fork oil; no problem, have all the right tools, done it loads of times before

Oil drained, time to refill; tightening the damper rod bolt - snap, OH SH&T!



Now bike is u/s until I can get a new damper rod drain plug and strip the leg Bloody bank holidays!

Next thing I know is SWMBO complaining about the usual 30 min job and my bad mood

Eng, you have my total sympathy. I remember when I was giving my ST a full service prior to a long trip and managed to strip the bevel drive drain plug thread.

If the damper rod is the same as a 1980 R100RS or R80/7 then I have a couple of spares as I changed the fronts on both bikes.
