For those who have bought one of these from boxer design, how long did it take for delivery?

I ordered the part on 17th Feb (over a week ago) and have been told that it hasn't left their premises yet. Will be sent next week appparently. Boring.

snerkler, if you cant fit it than pm me, as i work around chesterfield most saturdays and ill come and fit it..however im sure you will fit it, its not rocket science

Have you heard anything back from them yet? I've not heard anything from them so don't know whether it's been shipped yet or not
Having ridden a tricked up FireBlade with a quick action throttle (Fully shut to fully open in 1/3 of the usual turn) I must say it was jolly fun on-track. Near enough pointless on the road.
Slapping an HP2 Sport engine into a 1200 frame (I assume it fits?) and changing the final drive gearing to suit, should satisfy the blood eyed pursuit of speed and power....

Mine's been picked up by the delivery guys in Germany and I've received an email from boxerdesign with a tracking link. In fact i received 2 tracking links but the first one didn't work. Ordered on 17th Feb - still not here. I spoke to the bloke at boxerdesign yesterday and he seemed a bit miffed that i was chasing him. However he doesn't speak much English so I may have misread his tone.
I spoke to my insurers and this mod will not effect my premiums. Might be worth clearing it with your insurers just so they don't have wriggle room if the worst happens.

Mine has just turned up, looks OK, but £50 for a 1 inch long slither of plastic!
Be worth it to save my wrist so not too bothered, just thinking I am in the wrong game.

Rasher once youve fitted it lets hear on any drawbacks or problems caused by i t large or small before i commit to a purchase ,my wrist may get a rest to with one fitted

Just tried fitting the f**** thing and I have no idea what you are emant to do with it!
The website instructions are useless, the English is completely incomprehensible and after removing the throttle cable cover it is not obvious where the insert is supposed to fit.
I thought it would just sit in place under the cable, but cannot see how
I am going to see if I can return it, if not it will be up for sale here if anyone else fancies a go, for reference this is the one from this site - you will see what I mean about instructions, and even the pictures are so vague you cannot see how it fits.

I can get it clipped in place OK but even before fitting the cover it catches a bit towards full throttle, I thought the cable would soon wear down the plastic and resolve this after a few mile, but once you put the cover back on (the one they supply) it is impossible to move the throttle at all!
it just seems wrong to me, perhaps BMW have altered the design and it fits some bikes OK.
Anyway I have requested a refund from them, at £50 for a 1 gram piece of plastic it is not exactly cheap, I expect they will now suddenly not understand English and leave me fleeced!
A shame as I really fancied this mod, but am now put off buying from abroad.
If anyone knows of a UK company selling these things let me know.
