Quick question re fitting Goodridge Hoses.....

Sorry if this is a dumb question but just about to fit a set of stainless steel hoses to my 1150GS (2002 ABS, non-servo).

Got all the old lines off and starting to fit the new ones. My question is, where the new flexible hoses screws into the metal hardline at the front, is the screw-in inference enough to give it the seal it needs or do I need to use some ptfe tape?

Definitely NO PTFE tape
Should have male and female conical seats - which are self-sealing.

I just fitted a Venhill rear hose to my R1100GS last week no tape or copper seals ,granted its an abs model so end fitting might be diff from yours but screwed it up tight n no leaks
