Quick Trip to Ypres/Passendale - 9 - 11 Nov 14

Hi Tossers, I've decided to do a short notice trip to the Ypres/Passendale region and thought I'd stick a post up in case anyone else was in the area. I'll be taking the 0650 Eurotunnel on Sun 9 Nov and blasting across to Tyne Cot memorial and touring the cemeteries before shacking up for 2 nights in the Hostellerie Daiseldaele in Moorslede. Touring the WW1 battlefields again on Mon and returning on Tues 11 Nov via a Remembrance ceremony somewhere in time to get the 1420 train back to UK.

Feel free to join up along the route or share a beer in Moorslede!

Cheers BigWill, weather in UK was sh*te yesterday but it's been glorious in Flanders today, forecast tomoz is good too, shame I'm solo really.

Had 5 days in Ypres in August. Was there on 4th Aug, 100 years to the day Britain declared war on Germany. Menim Gate "Last Post" was very moving.
