I (and I am sure others) am familiar with the slightly out of focus paintings, seeing them on jigsaws or in magazines. One has always stuck in my mind, simply as it does look like a family arriving at the beach even today.
From a link in the site, I found that you can visit the art museum which holds lots of the paintings for just EUR 6, which is not more than say three cups of coffee. A nice enough way to spend an hour or so, perhaps? Honfleur, with all its links to Henry V, is a popular enough destination for a stopover anyway.
