Quite a good website for simple ideas of places to see

Good find, thanks Richard, a few places within a couple of hours of me I knew nothing about. (y)

Thank you everyone.

Whilst it takes a lot to beat Michelin’s Green Guides, which are still simple but very well produced books, I quite liked the site, too.

What I liked about the site was that it picks up things you’d probably miss. A good example, to me at least is:

I (and I am sure others) am familiar with the slightly out of focus paintings, seeing them on jigsaws or in magazines. One has always stuck in my mind, simply as it does look like a family arriving at the beach even today.

From a link in the site, I found that you can visit the art museum which holds lots of the paintings for just EUR 6, which is not more than say three cups of coffee. A nice enough way to spend an hour or so, perhaps? Honfleur, with all its links to Henry V, is a popular enough destination for a stopover anyway.

Excellent, thanks, and as a footnote we visited the Boudin museum last September.
