Why is it that the Motorbike industry is so ancient in how to engage with customers in the sales pipeline. So many automated marketing tools now that will trigger a response based on your action.

Well, I guess the dealership pulling a sheet off your bike with a “tadaaaaar,” is all you’re going to get.
 
Any reason why the UK website doesn’t show any luggage on the configurator whereas the German site does ?

Someone has fucked up, as when you click on any item of luggage for more info, it refers to the headlight initially 😀

I tried the US version, same problem.

Shame you can’t get a pillion on with those bags for one’s weekend get away.
 
I hope they do some proper luggage options for it, and a rear rack.
The aftermarket firms will have a field day I’m sure.

It looks okay, just not quite right when compared to the old r100gs or r80g/s.
 
Local dealer was saying launch and demo bikes available ftom 9th of June
 
Sorry to be a bit backwards here but what’s the difference vs an R9T. Assume a bigger engine but to my untrained eye they look similar
 
Made some enquiries with the dealer, he expected it would be ‘released’ in September with delivery around the end of the year, then phoned yesterday to say that the bike was available to order now - so it does look like the above date is far more likely than September.
