A friend of mine is looking to buy an R850R, yr 2000 with 6K on the clock. Is the advice the same for this model ?

a great real-world commuter imho... though try to convince him to go for the GS version which needless to say is betterer.

Well I saw it parked outside the terminal at BRS today so that's 1 day of it's history accounted for.
