I am sadly reporting that Mike Goodman passed away on Thursday 1st December 2011 after two weeks struggle in intensive care at Bristol's Frenchay Hospital. It is understood that a brain aneurism may be the caiuse. Mike was 47 years of age.

Everyone, who has ever had dealings with Bristol Motorrad over the last twenty years, or so, will at sometime , have experienced Mike's phenomenal wealth of BMW knowledge, which he was always willing to share. Any of the many peculiarities of these Beemers, Mike would endeavour to sort.

Mike was the guy with dark hair on the front desk and was recently, understandably, snapped up by the new Dick Lovett franchise, where he has worked for a few weeks.

R.I.P Mike, you are a great loss to all of us and our many problems

Mike Goodman, a really good ambassador for BMW and Bristol Motorrad.
Customers always had a friend with Mike treating them professionally and well at all times. Mike also had great deal of respect from BMW dealers that had contact with him for advice or just to pass on information.
He will be sadly missed

All at Ocean BMW

I must admit that I always dealt with Kris at BRM's, but Mike was always there and often took my calls and helped when I visit the showroom. Very sad news and my thoughts are with his family and colleagues at a very close knit dealership.

Very sad, I was in the new dealership a couple of weeks ago and he was very helpful and friendly as usual.

RIP

There is also a post open under the South West section, but I can only echo what as already been said about Mike. A great guy who always delivered beyond expectations to ensure great customer satisfaction. Mike, you will be greatly missed. RIP

Thanks Guy Here is a link to Yonlyo's thread in the SW section.

Mike's untimely death hit me quite hard, as i was only having a coffee with him at Lovett's a few days before he was taken ill.

As said above, he was a font of knowledge for BMW engines, and helped be greatly over the years.

He was so very happy with his new job, and really looking forward to the future.

R.I.P Mike
