Thought I would post a few pics of the new R1 2009 which has just arrived at the local dealers ready for a launch at the end of the month.

After seeing pics in the mags and not being too impressed to be honest, the bike looks stunning in the flesh.

Quality looks great and the matt black fairing and panels look the business. Its smooth sided and reminded me of an MV

The bike looks tiny but is still roomy when sat on it and if I was in the market for a superbike, this would be the one for me.

Just can't wait to here it run

all the latest supersports bikes have stupid bits on them. R1s back end looks shocking, as does the new zx6rs ... they have all gone for this motogp look crap. BLEURGH

Buy one... if you have no taste

ignore the tractor geek comments re sportsbikes you can wave at him as you go past.

They reckon this is the one to have, let us know what you think when you get your mits on it.
