Top effort! :thumb2

Be good to hear the results of the dyno testing- and what effect it has on real world drivability

(theres a lot of tensioning springs in there tho....:P)

jeh thier are a few firms aut thier that du this type of header uther wise i wouldent of got the idear but no one is doing one aut of so many parts as this the header are usally made aut of one piece which is bad if you smasch them with this one its cheep to repair if you damage them propier race tech you can tacke the header of in less than 30 seconds :D

The fixation with equal length headers tells you how much a designer knows about real world systems.

Every system will have its sweet spot, where it performs best, and in the real world this is in the rev band that you use 90% of the time.

Equal length headers usually have this sweet spot right at the top of the rev range, where only racers make much use of it.

The high level 2 in i 's on the old Triumph Trophy and other old Brit iron were unequal usually in the ratio of 2 to 1 and had the sweet spot right where you wanted it, 3500/4500 revs .

I have a unequal 2 into 1, 2 to 1 system on a 900 cc R 75/7 and with a long Dunstall Decibell silencer it starts to howl at just over 4000 revs, that is, the sweet spot is 4000/5000 revs, which is much more use to me than a system which performs well between 6700 and 7200 revs.

The can's quite cool but the headers look very angular and altogether too square leaving the heads to me, but then if you're happy with it, who cares? :thumb

I see you've put plugs in for an air/fuel meter. That's a good idea. Instead of curling the pipe round the back of engine you could have made a cylindrical centre box. This would have better for midrange. I tried several system on my 1100gs, the best setup was the Remus with the collector box, it was significantly better than the same system with a y pipe.

my guess is your going to have a flat spot in the midrange.

the end can is up for grabs if your interest with a link pipe with footrestmount or withaut to fit a standard collechtor box or after market Y-piece 300 withaut foot and 350 euros with free postage to england inschured and it has a euro nr.

had it on the dyno to day it pushed aut 66,1 bhp on the clutch - krank consirelbly beter with no db killer in

dyno print aut

I dont supose this is the best results but i licke the look of the system the only uther mods are K&N air filter the engine is uther wise standard
