R100GS, choke cable wanted,,

Can anyone tell me where I can get a complete choke cable for my 88 100GS, or any good pattern ones,?.
Seen a few site but they only sell component parts to rack up the cost maybe ?. And couple of throttle cables,?. may be a good time to fit a fresh pair..

I paid £12. 81 each, plus VAT for BMW accel.cables recently, don't really see the point of risking pattern ones.

That was my thinking when I fitted new BMW cables in preparation for a recent trip to Istanbul. It rained a lot on the way out and they Only lasted four days before getting so stiff the grip was twisting off instead of opening the throttle. Fortuatly I had a new pair of venhills as spares, fitted them and the problem disapeard.

BMW parts quality has gone down the pan over the past couple of years.

Don't know if they're oe or pattern but that's what I use. No probs.

Most cable stiffness is caused by poor routing so make sure there are no sharp bends when you fit 'em.

When you buy them seperately, they will cost near on £40.0, buy you used to get them complete once somewhere?. I will try looking at venhills.
