Hi guy's, thanks for all the previous info and ideas which ended with me buying the Motobau pegs. They work well and keep the feet back from the foot levers but they will still need adjusting down.
Does anyone know how much I can drop the gear lever on the thread before I start messing or do I tap a longer rod?
And the same with the brake, what are the adjustment options. They don't need a lot to get them within usable range of my foot.
What I did find with the pegs is that the original spacers don't fit due to the thickness of the bracket metal and also the springs are a bit over size and stick out of the bracket.
Cheers
G

The gear lever has a fair bit of adjustment on it -just try it and see.

Dont know about the brake lever - if its like the G/S (probably isnt as its a cable operated pull?) then, again, there is a fair bit.

As you mention that there isnt much needed, you almost certainly have enough range already with out having to faff about with making new rods etc.....just try, how hard can it be? :nenau

As for the springs being "oversized" - thats deliberate to allow you to get a cable tie or similar around the ends so you can compress them easily when removing/re fitting the pegs.
